Hello, let me introduce my family. My name is Elizabeth and my husband is J.R. Magallanes we have a three year old daughter named Alexia. Alexia, unfortunately was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia that has left her visually impaired. Just recently we got good news that her condition could be treated by umbilical cord stem cell injections. This procedure unfortunately is not available in the United States but is available in China. The procedure alone costs around $24,000 to $32,000 depending on how many stem cell injections the doctor may recommend. However, we are trying to raise $60,000 to pay for other expenses such as the air travel and stay expenses. Unfortunately, our families and ourselves do not have that type of money, so we must rely on fundraising events and your charitable donations. Our goal is to raise this amount by June 2011. Any contributions you are able to offer would be deeply appreciated!
